What's Your Story?
Wednesday 9/17 and Friday 9/19

The library will host a duet of memoir-writing workshops for new and seasoned writers at the Shirley J. Luck Senior Center.  Designed to help writers bring family stories to the page, these interactive workshops encourage participants to recall early memories.  Focusing on writing techniques using vivid and descriptive language, presenter Susannah Risley will offer support to make memories come alive.

Please call the library (762-8317) or the Senior Center (762-4643) to register.  Program held at Senior Center.  Susannah Risley has published fiction in Redbook and Mademoiselle Magazines and other periodicals.  She has fifteen years of experience teaching writing workshops in libraries, schools, prisons, senior centers, and historical societies.

This program series is made possible by the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew Cuomo and the New York State Legislature.  Sponsored by the Mohawk Valley Library system and participating member libraries.  All participating member libraries are handicapped accessible.
