The Johnstown Public Library is proud to offer a variety of programs & events for all ages.  Most programs are offered regularly while other events vary throughout the year.  Every single one is free to all who enter the building. There are times that we need to know how many are attending for planning purposes, and thus, require registration. Those are noted below.

We'll do basic exercises and have a little fun. You are welcome to come to both Wednesday and Friday! Don't forget a water bottle.

Listening to stories is one of the first steps in eventually learning to read. Enjoy stories, songs, fingerplays, action rhymes, and other activities aimed at building a love of language, books, and reading.
*Children are not expected to sit the entire time. Siblings welcomed. Free. No Registration

Music provides a fun way to develop early literacy skills in young children. Join Gary VanSlyke for Music Time as he performs children's songs & rhymes, plays various instruments, and shares stories. Geared towards little ones, but all families are invited to join us.
